We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter, Principal Consultant or Associate Director-level operator who wants more ownership, more influence and a genuine opportunity to help shape a growing business.

This role suits someone who can bill, build relationships, win work, deliver properly and bring commercial maturity to the team.

The role You will build and manage a specialist desk across technical, mining, infrastructure, engineering or related markets.

You will work directly with the Director and senior team, with the autonomy to develop client relationships, identify opportunities and deliver recruitment outcomes from brief through to placement.

We work with clients nationally and have successfully supported international recruitment assignments. As the business grows, so will the opportunity to contribute across broader markets and build your commercial success.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and developing a portfolio of technical clients
• Taking detailed briefs and challenging vague requirements when necessary
• Developing search and attraction strategies for difficult-to-fill roles
• Building, engaging and representing a high-quality technical candidate network
• Managing permanent and contract recruitment assignments from brief to placement
• Providing clients with practical market intelligence, salary guidance and workforce advice
• Identifying growth opportunities across industrial and commercial markets
• Helping improve systems, standards and internal recruitment capability

What we’re looking for

• Proven recruitment experience within technical, mining, engineering, construction, infrastructure, industrial or labour hire markets
• Strong client relationship and business-development capability
• A demonstrated record of billing or building a profitable recruitment desk
• Commercial confidence, sound judgement and the ability to manage pressure without dropping standards
• The confidence to engage senior stakeholders and influence hiring outcomes
• A practical, diligent and approachable recruitment style
