Hotel All Rounder - Housekeeping and Reception

We are currently looking for a casual ‘all round’ hotel assistant for an immediate start for our luxurious 18 room boutique hotel in Rockhampton. This role will encompass both front office reception duties and general housekeeping including maintaining rooms.

To be successful for this role you will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to each and every one of our guests along with:

• Previous experience in accommodation; reception and housekeeping areas. 

• Experience in a personalised customer focused position.

• A professional and positive can-do working attitude.

• A good level of fitness is required for some physically demanding duties in housekeeping.

• Appreciation of maintaining a clean and presentable hotel environment.

• The ability to multi-task while having high attention to detail, possess problem solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively.

• Front Desk or Reservations experience in a hotel environment would be advantageous.

• Experience with RMS would be advantageous.

• Have own transportation and access to a computer.

• Flexibility and the ability to commit to a roster that includes some 6am starts, some split shifts, some weekends and some public holidays.

• Although we are unable to guarantee rostered hours, we would expect that you would be available for approx 20 hours per week.
