IT Technical Specialist (Infrastructure)

We are seeking IT Technical Specialists to join Strategy Design and Architecture.
As an IT Technical Specialist (Infrastructure), you will provide strategic technical leadership and deep subject matter expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, across one or more technical domains.You will work in collaboration with Architects, internal delivery teams and IT Service Providers on elements of our IT Strategic Roadmaps, to deliver efficient and effective insourced and outsourced IT Services to the ATO. You’ll also assist program teams in procurement processes, including cost estimation, developing requirements, and technical evaluations.
In this role, you will anticipate future challenges in ATO IT requirements and position the ATO to meet these challenges, remaining up to date with IT industry and market trends and helping to incorporate them into the ATO enterprise architecture. You’ll promote and realise automation opportunities across infrastructure domains and identify, plan, and realise opportunities, whilst addressing technical debt across our technology portfolio.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Sydney CBD or Wollongong.
