Your Role

As Head of App Enablement, you'll own the strategy, performance and future direction of the Flybuys App, one of our most important member engagement and commercial channels. You'll partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering and Platform leaders to set priorities, guide investment decisions and ensure our app delivers meaningful value for both members and the business. This role combines strategic leadership, stakeholder influence and commercial decision-making to drive app growth, performance and long-term sustainability.

Key accountabilities:

• Own the strategy, roadmap and long-term evolution of the Flybuys App
• Drive investment and prioritisation decisions, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities
• Evaluate, challenge and prioritise app initiatives based on strategic alignment, value, risk and delivery capacity
• Connect Product, Marketing, Engineering, Security, Data and Platform teams to optimise member and business outcomes
• Own app performance, leveraging insights and data to drive engagement, adoption and commercial results
• Ensure the Flybuys App remains secure, scalable, reliable and fit for future growth
• Influence and align senior stakeholders across leadership teams to deliver enterprise-wide outcomes
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability and strengthening strategic leadership
• Balance member needs, commercial outcomes and platform health to maximise long-term value

Your Experience

• Experience leading large-scale digital products or platforms
• Deep expertise in mobile apps, digital channels and customer experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and prioritisation skills
• Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
• Strategic thinker who can balance customer, commercial and platform needs
• Data-driven approach to performance, investment and value realisation.
• Strong understanding of app delivery, releases, integrations and platform governance
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Track record of driving growth, innovation and operational excellence
• Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
• Deep understanding of how app architecture, release processes, integrations, platform constraints and squad dependencies interact to enable or prevent reliable delivery of member experiences.
• Strong knowledge of how stability, security, performance and compliance are impacted by delivery decisions, and how to maintain the app as a reliable execution channel at scale
