About the role
Manager Community Relations (full-time)
$125 000 per annum depending on experience
Based in our West Perth Office.
Native Title Services Goldfields (NTSG) is the recognised native title service provider for the Goldfields Region of Western Australia. Our staff are a dedicated, highly motivated and team-oriented group, operating in a fast paced, complex and dynamic working environment.
Our primary function is to protect and advance the native title rights and interests of the native title claimants and holders of the Goldfields Region. This includes assisting native title claimants to have their native title rights and interests recognised by the Australian legal system.
We are seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Community Relations Manager to lead our newly created Community Relations and PBC Support function. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about working with Aboriginal communities and supporting positive outcomes for Traditional Owners, claim groups, and native title holders across the Goldfields region.
About the role:
The Community Relations Manager is responsible for leading NTSG's community relations and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring strong and effective relationships are maintained with constituents, Traditional Owners, Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs), government agencies and other key stakeholders. The role oversees the planning and delivery of engagement initiatives, facilitates meetings and consultations, and supports constituents to achieve their aspirations and objectives.
About you:
You are an experienced leader with demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, community relations or a related field. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships, facilitate productive discussions and effectively manage sensitive or complex matters with a range of stakeholders.
You possess a sound understanding of Aboriginal affairs, community engagement principles and, ideally, native title. Organised and adaptable, you can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service delivery, governance and accountability. Most importantly, you are committed to supporting Aboriginal communities and empowering your team to achieve meaningful outcomes.
