The purpose of this role is to support the analysis approach and provide analytical services on large complex initiatives, and lead this work on smaller, less complex ones, whilst ensuring processes and requirements for strategic change initiatives are captured, documented and successfully delivered.
The Business Analyst will support the development of new changes over the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle, including in depth analysis of our customer & business needs and pain points; assisting designers, engineers and developers to understand these and how these are represented in our requirements; supporting testing where appropriate and providing project implementation support as required.
Responsibilities 
Partner closely with business initiative owners to develop a deep understanding of the challenges, pain points and areas of opportunityAssist with scoping and development of work packagesPlan, establish and facilitate stakeholder workshopsConduct Cost/Benefit Analysis to support discovery and new business investment proposalsDevelopment of current and future state process documentationDevelopment of business requirement specifications (BRS) and functional requirement specification (FRS) documentation (as required/project specific) and utilising standard templates and guidelinesChallenge and ask 'why' to provide the best solution for the business and our customersWork closely with cross-functional teams to develop clear and unambiguous product backlogs of work which deliver the outcomes needed by our businessWork with the team to define Epics, Features, User Stories and tasks per business initiative at paceDefine concise acceptance criteria which supports the delivery team and testersWork closely with the team to refine the backlog and ensure the team has a shared understanding of the contentProactively support the uplift of Delivery practices and foster a culture of continual improvement, allowing the delivery team to move at pace, yet delivering high quality and secure requirementsParticipate in and contribute to the BA and Agile Communities of Practice within Bupa, and to capability uplift and continuous improvement initiatives within the BA practiceMentor and support Associate Business Analysts and Business Analysts to uplift analysis skills and Domain knowledge as requiredReview Test Strategy, review Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Results for SIT, Performance and Security Testing

Requirements 
Experience leading and defining the analysis approach regardless of complexity in projects/Agile product deliveriesExperience collaborating with, supporting and mentoring associate/junior level Business Analysts on the job (desirable)Experience in establishing and facilitating workshops for Discovery and elicitation or requirements at a senior stakeholder levelExperience with process mapping and applying conventions using MS Visio, Miro and/or Lucid ChartDelivery experience working within cross-functional teamsProven experience working with one or more project delivery methodologies - Hybrid, Waterfall and a Scaled Agile FrameworkDemonstrated experience working with Agile methodologies and ceremonies including: Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Iteration/Release Planning, Showcases/Sprint ReviewsTertiary qualifications in Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent (desirable)High degree of credibility and strong ability to communicate, build trust and forge strong relationships with senior stakeholders and make executive level presentations
