TotalFusion Chermside is a premium fitness and wellness destination – gym, group fitness, allied health, cafe and rooftop bathhouse, crèche and more, all under one roof. We do wellness properly, and our team is at the centre of it.

The role

As our Senior Receptionist, you’ll lead and inspire the reception team to deliver a five-star experience every single shift. You’ll set the tone at the front of house, keep our standards high, and make sure every member and guest feels genuinely welcome from hello to goodbye.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, coaching and motivating the reception team to smash their KPIs and budgets
• Delivering an exceptional experience to every prospect, new member and regular
• Greeting members by name and turning every interaction into a positive one
• Onboarding new members – app setup, tags, photos, the works
• Training the team on all SOPs and upskilling them as you spot the need
• Running quick daily catch-ups with the Ops Manager / General Manager to set the day’s focus
• Handling enquiries, bookings, payments and emails across reception, day spa and allied health
• Supporting member retention
• Managing overdue accounts and compliance with care and professionalism
• Keeping the database spotless
• Promoting retail products, club programs and promotions

What you’ll bring

• Previous reception or customer service experience (leadership experience is a bonus)
• A genuine belief that outstanding service is the key to everything
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or the willingness to obtain them)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail and cool-headed problem solving
• The confidence to approach members and lead your team by example
• Great organisation and time management
• Honesty, integrity and a positive approach to change

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A professional appearance and demeanour.
