From hospitals and clinics to aged care and community programs, our technology empowers teams to deliver better care - wherever it's needed.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager to lead critical technology incidents across Telstra Health, including incidents impacting our customers and internal technology environment.This is a hands-on Major Incident Management role where you'll take control of complex, high-pressure incidents and drive teams through to service restoration and resolution.Working in a healthcare technology environment, you'll also manage incidents where technology disruption may create customer or clinical risk.What You'll Be DoingLead major and critical technology incidents across customer and enterprise environments.Assess incident impact and urgency, including potential customer, clinical and business risk.Lead major incident bridges, coordinating technical teams, business teams, vendors and third parties to restore services quickly.Drive service restoration by setting clear actions, removing blockers, escalating issues and holding teams accountable.Lead and influence senior stakeholders and executives, driving decisions and maintaining alignment.Provide clear, timely incident communications to customers, leaders and other stakeholders.Lead post-incident reviews and partner with Problem Management to identify root causes and corrective actions.Ensure incidents are managed in line with ITIL practices and identify opportunities to improve service resilience.About YouExtensive Major Incident Management experience within large, complex enterprise technology environments.Proven ability to take control and drive outcomes during complex, high-pressure incidents.Strong experience influencing senior leaders, executives and large stakeholder groups.Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex issues and effectively coordinate technical teams.Experience working across multiple teams, vendors and third parties.Strong practical knowledge of ITIL, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.Experience in healthcare, highly regulated or other business-critical environments will be highly regarded.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.ITIL certification is highly desirable. Additional project management or relevant technology certifications are beneficial.Australian citizenship is required for this role.Ability to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required to support major incidents.About UsFlexibility isn't a perk - it's how we work!
