Physiotherapy Private Practice - Administration/Receptionist

We are looking for our next Casual Reception Super Star to help us keep our clinic running smoothly, so our Physio’s can do what they do best – help people!

The role of the Receptionist is to oversee all aspects of the day to day running of the Physiotherapy practice. A key focus is on the seamless organisation and management of all administrative duties of the practice. You will work closely with the Practice Leader to ensure every patient’s expectations are exceeded.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication and rapport building skills

• Exceptional organisational skills

• A good, clear, telephone manner is essential

• The ability to follow set procedures and self-discipline to ensure task completion

• Good time management, and be able to plan and prioritise workload

• Be able to handle multiple tasks and see each through to completion

• Strong computer skills

• Show attention to detail and be able to problem solve

• Work within a team environment and independently as required

• Accountability, respectful and calm in the face of work pressures

• Conscientious, reliable and motivated

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Handling a busy reception

• Greeting patients, managing appointments and answering phones

• Processing invoices and Medicare claims

• Liaising with medical professionals both internally and externally

• Handling TYRO EFTPOS transactions

• Invoicing to Workcover and Third-Party Insurers

• Stock ordering and maintaining appropriate stock level

• Data entry

• Delivering efficient customer service to all clients and patients

• Obtaining results, reports, referrals and sending reports out efficiently and effectively
