Reception/Administration officer

Part-Time Receptionist | Friendly, Professional & Patient-Focused

We are looking for a warm, reliable and professional Receptionist to join our small physiotherapy clinic.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for patients. You will be an important part of our team and the first point of contact for many of our patients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional customer service

• Answering phone calls and responding to emails and enquiries

• Booking, changing and confirming appointments

• Managing patient payments and health fund claims

• Processing referrals and maintaining accurate patient information

• Supporting the physiotherapists with day-to-day administration

• Keeping reception and the clinic organised and presentable

• Following clinic procedures and maintaining patient confidentiality

• Assisting with general administrative tasks as required

We are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with people

• Professional and respectful at all times

• Reliable, punctual and well organised

• Comfortable using computers and learning new software

• Able to multitask while remaining calm and attentive

• A good communicator with a positive attitude

• Able to work independently but also enjoys being part of a small team

• Respectful of patient privacy and understands the importance of confidentiality

• Someone who takes initiative and is willing to learn

Previous medical or physiotherapy reception experience is an advantage, but not essential. We are happy to train the right person who has the right attitude and willingness to learn.

We are a small, friendly physiotherapy practice where people matter. You will work closely with our physiotherapists and reception team in a supportive environment where your contribution is valued.
