Synthetic grass installer / supervisor

About the role

Titan Turf is seeking an experienced Synthetic Grass Installer / Supervisor to join our team in Lonsdale, SA. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead and manage synthetic grass installation projects whilst maintaining hands-on involvement in the field. You will be responsible installing turf including running the team on larger jobs, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional results to our clients. This role is pivotal to our operations, combining technical expertise with supervisory responsibilities to maintain our reputation for excellence in the synthetic grass installation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct installations of synthetic grass, including site preparation, ground levelling, base installation, and turf laying

• Supervise and manage synthetic grass installation teams on-site, ensuring all work meets company standards and client expectations

• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality, durability and aesthetic appeal

• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and manage expectations throughout the installation process

• Maintain and service tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition

• Assist in training and developing junior installation staff and apprentices

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and encourage a safe working environment on all sites

• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient project completion

• Liaise with management regarding project progress, challenges and resource requirements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a synthetic grass installer with at least 3-5 years in the industry

• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of synthetic grass installation techniques, materials and best practices

• Proficiency in site preparation, drainage systems and ground work

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions

• Valid driver's license and reliable transport to job sites

• Current White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain one

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients

• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Basic understanding of project management and scheduling

• Preferred: Experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance, knowledge of local regulations and site conditions in South Australia
