Skills and experience - To be considered, you will need;

• Qualified tradesman with Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction 

• Or a Skilled trade assistant with gel coat and detail experience

• 3 years experience preferred but not required

• Some tools provided

• Hand skills a must

• Preferably physically fit due to the nature of the environment 

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

• Must live in Australia

• Speak fluent English

• No Sponsorship available

• No working Visa considered

• Standard working week will have you starting at 5:30 am and finishing at 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 5:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday. With optional overtime.

About the role

Pro-tech Marine are seeking the services of a qualified Boat Builder / Trade Assistant 40+ hours per week. Long term role with years of work ahead. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities would be all aspects of the Fit out 1 Boat Building process including but not limited to: deck prep, all stainless steel fitment, plumbing, sub assembly of small parts, windscreens, fairing , sanding, application of gel coat, buffing, quality control, mentoring young apprentices, glass fitment and so on.
