Internal Sales Representative — Dore Electrics / NPA

Dore Electrics and NPA are part of a growing Electrical Division supplying quality electrical products and components to trade, industrial, and commercial customers across Australia. We represent leading brands including Phoenix Contact, and pride ourselves on strong technical knowledge, fast turnaround, and genuine relationships with our customers.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our team and support our external sales network, branch operations, and valued customer base.

Working closely with our external sales team and warehouse/procurement staff, you'll be the first point of contact for customers calling or emailing in — quoting, processing orders, sourcing product, and helping solve problems on the spot. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who knows the electrical industry and enjoys building relationships over the phone and counter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and counter — quoting and processing orders efficiently

• Provide technical product advice on electrical components and equipment

• Proactively follow up quotes and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities

• Liaise with external sales reps to support key accounts and new business

• Check stock, check availability, and coordinate with procurement/warehouse teams

• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system

• Build strong, lasting relationships with trade and industrial customers

• Support pricing, backorders, and general account queries

• Previous experience in a similar internal sales role within the electrical industry is preferred — you understand electrical components, terminology, and how trade customers operate

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone- and counter-based sales environment

• Confident using ERP systems and general computer literacy

• A team player who can also work autonomously and take ownership of tasks

• Well organised, with strong attention to detail
