Multi Skilled operator

RPM Pro Civil is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Civil Operator to join our growing team.

We work across the Moreton Bay to Sunshine Coast region, completing a range of civil construction projects including roadworks, subdivisions, stormwater and pipeworks, earthworks, concrete works and general civil construction.

We’re looking for someone who is more than just a machine operator. The right person will be confident working independently, taking responsibility for jobs and communicating professionally with supervisors, developers, engineers and clients.

You must also be willing to get out of the machine and assist with labouring and general site duties when required.

The ideal applicant will have experience operating a range of machinery, including:

• Excavators

• Graders

• Skid steers

• Loaders

• Rollers

• Other general civil construction plant

Experience with final trim and grader operation would be highly regarded.

You should also be able to:

• Read and understand construction plans and levels

• Work independently and use initiative

• Complete civil earthworks and detailed excavation

• Assist with stormwater and pipework

• Carry out daily pre-starts and basic plant checks

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship

• Communicate confidently with engineers, developers, clients and other contractors

• Follow WHS requirements and site procedures

• Assist with labouring and general civil duties when required

• Previous civil construction experience

• Relevant plant tickets/competencies

• Current driver’s licence

• HR truck licence preferred

• White Card

• Reliable and strong work ethic

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

We want someone who takes pride in their work, looks after machinery and can be trusted to get the job done properly.

This position would suit an experienced operator who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in all aspects of civil construction rather than sitting on one machine all day.
