About us

Sprout Food Group is an Adelaide hospitality business that is founder led. We run three venues, each with its own personality and its own welcoming team:

• Roma, Restaurant, Deli & Piazza

• Olive Restaurant

• Pantry on Prospect

Our venues are busy, well-run and food-led. We're heading into peak season and we're hiring across all three now.

The roles

Senior Section Waiters / Supervisors — you run a section confidently, mentor junior staff, and hold the standards without being asked. Always with the customer in mind.

Section Waiters — you know your way around a full section, take orders accurately, read a table well, are across dietary requirements, and move seamlessly around the floor.

Bartenders — classic cocktails, wine service, coffee, and a clean, fast bar.

All roles are casual, with shifts across days, evenings and weekends. We'll ask about your availability during shortlisting.

What we're looking for

We're moving quickly, and we're after people who can step onto the floor or behind the bar and contribute from their first shift. If you know what you're doing, we want to hear from you. And we love people who are willing to learn new things.

You'll need:

• Demonstrated experience in a comparable restaurant, bar or high-volume venue — and a desire to keep learning

• Confidence with POS systems and taking orders under pressure

• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, valid in South Australia — essential for bartenders and section waiters

• Genuine availability across evenings and weekends

• The right to work in Australia

• A warm, professional manner with guests and a team-first attitude

• Real enthusiasm for food and dining that guests can feel. Wine knowledge is an advantage.

We're not running an entry-level intake this round, so you'll need existing hospitality experience.

Studying, or here on a working holiday?

Students — we roster around class timetables and publish rosters in advance. Tell us your availability and we'll work with it.

Working holiday visa holders — We appreciate all the experience and diversity that working holiday makers can bring to our venues.
