Join Our Team The primary focus of this role is to develop the capabilities of our team members through the delivery of the Learning and Development strategy and coordination of training programs that align with current and future business requirements. The role is responsible for the design, delivery and coordination of learning and development programs, including engaging with external providers, overseeing the LMS platform to optimise value, quality and efficiency, and coordinating apprenticeship, traineeship and work placement partnerships that lead to employment outcomes.
The Role
- As the Learning Management System (LMS) subject matter expert, design and peer-reviewing learning content, supporting users and administrators, and conducting regular platform and content audits.
- Analyse LMS and learning data to deliver insights, recommendations and reporting that improve engagement, participation and learning outcomes.
- Partner with the GM Human Resources to develop and implement the Learning and Development strategy, including workforce planning, budget recommendations, KPIs and outcome measurement.
- Design and deliver learning initiatives that embed organisational vision, mission and values across culture, communications, engagement events and day-to-day operations.
- Consult with Leadership and Department Managers to identify capability needs and develop, source or procure tailored internal and external training solutions.
- Plan, implement and communicate the organisation-wide Training Calendar, co-ordinating program logistics, external providers and participant attendance.
- Lead training, development and change-management activities for major business initiatives, ensuring teams are capable, informed and ready for implementation.
- Create and deliver inclusive onboarding and company induction programs, adapting learning approaches to meet cultural, accessibility and individual learning requirements.
- Manage vocational education activities, including certified training and licensing, traineeships, apprenticeships, school-based programs, training awards and emerging talent pathways such as graduate and internship programs.
About You - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of L&D strategy and initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of competency-based training, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in developing and delivering training using adult learning principles.
- Experience engaging with external training providers, RTO’s, Australian Apprenticeship Centres and government agencies involved with vocational training grants, subsidies, funding and initiatives.
- Experience in coordinating training and knowledge management to provide a holistic approach to employee development.
- Highly developed PC skills, working knowledge of LMS and L&D software and technologies.
