The Dinner Ladies is one of Australia's leading home meal delivery businesses, creating delicious frozen meals that taste just like homemade.

As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our permanent production team across our Assembly, Prep and Cook areas. We're looking for reliable, hardworking people who enjoy working in a fast-paced production kitchen and want the security of a full-time permanent role.

Whether you have experience in food preparation, commercial cooking, food assembly or kitchen production, we'd love to hear from you.

Successful applicants will be placed into one of our production teams based on experience, skills and business needs.

• Portioning and assembling meals

• Packing and labelling finished products

• Maintaining quality and presentation standards

• Working efficiently to production targets

• Preparing ingredients for production

• Washing, cutting and batching vegetables, proteins and other ingredients

• Following recipes and production specifications

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with recipes

• Operating commercial kitchen equipment

• Monitoring food quality and consistency

• Following HACCP and food safety procedures

Across all roles, you will:

• Work as part of a supportive production team

• Maintain a clean and organised workstation

• Follow recipes and production processes accurately

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality

• Follow all food safety, HACCP, quality (ISO) and workplace health and safety procedures.

We're looking for people who:

• Have previous experience in a commercial kitchen, food production or manufacturing environment (preferred)

• Are reliable, punctual and committed to full-time employment

• Work well within a team

• Can communicate clearly in English

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Can work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Are committed to food safety and quality

These are physically active production roles. To perform the inherent requirements of the position, you must be able to:

• Be on your feet for most of your shift

• Perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the day

• Frequently lift, carry and move items weighing up to 20kg

• Bend, reach, twist and move safely throughout the shift

• Work comfortably in both hot and chilled production environments

• Maintain a consistent work pace while following safe manual handling practices

These are full-time permanent positions with fixed shifts.

AM Shift

• 6:00am – 2:00pm

PM Shift

• 2:00pm – 10:00pm

(Current shift times are fixed, however operational requirements may change in the future.)

Due to operational requirements, applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
