Civil Construction All Rounders – Operators & Earthworks Trade Assistants

About the role

We are seeking experienced Civil Construction personnel, including Mobile Plant Operators and Earthworks Trade Assistants, to join our civil and construction team. Successful candidates will be involved in a diverse range of mining, infrastructure and civil construction projects across Western Australia. Key responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant including Excavators, Dozers, Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, Rollers, Tippers and Water Carts

• Assisting earthworks crews with daily construction activities

• Spotting and supporting plant operators during excavation and earthworks operations

• Assisting with drainage, trenching, service installations and general civil works

• Implementing and maintaining site controls including signage, barricades and exclusion zones

• Completing pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on plant, tools and equipment

• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment

• Maintaining safe housekeeping standards across the work area

• Working as a team with supervisors, operators, tradespeople and subcontractors

• Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements

About you

• Previous experience in civil construction, earthworks, mining or infrastructure projects

• Construction White Card

• Current Driver's Licence (HR/MC highly regarded)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)

• Rio Tinto, FMG and/or BHP site inductions highly desirable

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

• Ability to work safely around mobile plant and heavy equipment

• Physically fit and capable of working in a hands-on construction environment

• Strong work ethic and willingness to get involved in all aspects of earthworks and construction activities
