This is more than a standard electrical role. You’ll be out in the field, working across a diverse network of assets, solving real problems and keeping critical systems running. From planned maintenance to urgent fixes, you’ll play a hands‑on role in keeping water flowing to farms, towns and industry.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical assets across the network, including HV and LV equipment.
• Supporting water distribution operations and keeping systems running reliably.
• Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues to restore systems quickly.
• Delivering preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance safely and on time.
• Supporting non‑routine works and assisting with contractor management.
• Monitoring asset performance and identifying issues early.

You’ll travel across the region to access key sites—including more remote assets—giving you variety and the chance to work in some incredible locations. The role includes an on‑call roster, so you’ll need to be comfortable with occasional after‑hours and weekend work.

What you bring:

• QLD Electrical Work Licence.
• Experience working with instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, solar and communications systems.
• HV switching capability (or willingness to obtain).
• Confined space, working at heights and EWP competencies (or prepared to obtain them).
