About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our busy and growing panel repair business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, managing staff, and maintaining strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all workshop operations including panel beating, painting, and estimating

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tradespeople and administrative staff

• Ensure workflow efficiency, job quality, and on-time delivery

• Manage financial performance including budgets, KPIs, and cost control

• Maintain and build relationships with insurance companies and key partners

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards

• Drive continuous improvement and business growth initiatives

About You

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the panel repair / automotive industry

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Solid understanding of insurance repair processes and estimating systems

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
