Office Administrator / Personal Assistant

A rare part time role that actually fits around life. Three days a week, 9.00am to 2.00pm, based in our Artarmon office, with scope to grow to four days as the role develops.

About us

SAPP is a leading designer and manufacturer of retail displays and shop fittings, with our own large-scale factory in China and offices across Australia, the UK, Europe, the US and Asia. From Artarmon, our small and friendly Australian team delivers projects for some of the best known retailers and brands in the country. You'll work directly with our Executive Director and have real ownership of your patch from day one.

The role

You'll be the person who holds the place together. Day to day that looks like:

• Running the office: supplies, mail, couriers, errands, meeting rooms and facilities

• Booking travel and preparing board packs and meeting papers

• Organising team events, celebrations, staff gifts and client thank yous

• Building and owning our renewals and compliance registers: insurance, registrations, licences and contract dates

• Preparing bill payments for director approval, and following up overdue accounts by phone

• Discreet personal assistant support to the Executive Director

• Keeping IT humming: vendors, licences and equipment for the team
  

About you

• Five or more years in office administration, PA/EA work or office management

• Proactive and self managing: you anticipate, act and follow through without being asked

• Absolute discretion with confidential information

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Confident with Microsoft 365; Monday.com or Xero experience is a plus

• Current driver licence and reliable car

• Spoken Cantonese is an advantage, given our Hong Kong and China operations
  

What's on offer

• $40.50 to $45.50 per hour plus super ($80,000 to $90,000 full time equivalent, paid pro rata)

• Permanent part time, three days per week, 9.00am to 2.00pm, days by agreement

• Scope to grow to four days as the role develops
