Be the first point of contact for a whole city
Every day, you'll be the first face and voice of Council that our community meets, whether it's on the phone, at the counter or online. You'll bring warmth and care to every interaction and help shape how our whole community experiences Council.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Greet customers face to face and over the phone, sorting out what they need on the spot
Handle cash, EFTPOS payments and receipting with accuracy and care
Log enquiries and requests in Council's customer systems, and direct them to the right team
Prepare permits, letters and other correspondence for our community
About You
We are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of Our Values and has the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Experience delivering high quality customer service in a similar setting
Cash handling, receipting and EFTPOS experience
Good computer skills, with the ability to learn and use Council's corporate applications
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
