Customer Service Officer

Seeking a customer-focused administrator for a long-term Customer Service Officer role in Somersby, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start.

Synergie Australia is seeking a Customer Service Officer for a trusted client located in Somersby, Central Coast.

• Pay: $37.50 per hour | Duration: ASAP start through to June 2027
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Location: Somersby, Central Coast

You’ll provide customer service, administration, process documentation and case management support to assist the team’s day-to-day operational requirements. This role suits someone organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls
• Responding to service enquiries, complaints and dispute resolution matters
• Monitoring and responding to emails in shared mailboxes
• Booking hard waste collection services and managing residential bin maintenance requests
• Documenting, reviewing and maintaining operational processes and procedures
• Supporting process improvement initiatives to improve team efficiency and consistency
• Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, data entry and system updates
• Providing general administrative support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required

• Experience using Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to document processes clearly and effectively
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Previous call centre, customer service, administration or business support experience will be highly regarded

• Long-term contract opportunity through to June 2027
• Monday–Friday office hours, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Central Coast location in Somersby
