About the role:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated casual Sports Coaches to join our Co-Curricular Sport Program across both the Winter and Summer seasons. Our Sports Program plays an important role in the holistic development of our students, encouraging teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to personal excellence. Successful applicants will be passionate about mentoring young people and have the ability to contribute positively to our school community. Coaches are expected to uphold high standards of sportsmanship and represent the College’s values through positive engagement with students, families, and fellow staff.

The key responsibilities are to:

• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide game-day coaching in line with the College’s sporting philosophy.
• Support the development of individual and team skills.
• Supervise students to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with program coordinators and coaches to foster a positive team culture.
• Attend all training sessions, matches, and relevant meetings.

Skills, Experience and Certifications

• Previous coaching experience or relevant playing background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Availability during training and match times, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• South Australian employee Working with Children Check
• Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) Fundamentals and Masterclass certificate
