Operations Specialist - International Freight Forwarding

Leading International Freight Forwarder seeking a Operations Specialist to service Import LCL/FCL/RO-RO , Airfreight customers. Located in Mascot - close to transport/train. Work in modern office with dedicated team and management support. Offering 1 day WFH this is a great opportunity to join this market leader.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Handle Ocean FCL / LCL /RORO import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.

• Manage customer accounts and build client relationships

• Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.

• Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.

 
ABOUT YOU: 

• 2+ years Import local Freight Forwarder experience 

• 1+ years experience with Cargowise1 - including understanding of workflow (tasks /milestones) and edocs.

• Strong attention to detail 

• Understanding of import operations

• Excellent communication and computer skills

• Adaptable

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Relationship building skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
