Latrobe Regional Health is looking for O&G Registrar to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis until February 2028.
The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar provides high‑quality medical care to obstetrics and gynaecology patients while working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Under the supervision of senior medical staff, the Registrar applies advanced clinical knowledge and skills to support the diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients across inpatient, outpatient and on‑call settings.
The role also contributes to the supervision and education of junior medical staff and medical students, participates in quality improvement and research activities, and supports the ongoing delivery of safe, evidence‑based women's health services.

LRH cares for a population of about 300,000 and is the regional provider of specialist services. LRH offers cardiac care, surgery, medical, renal, emergency care, aged care, women's and children's services, pharmacy, allied health and rehabilitation. Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.
Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
