Service Advisor

About the role

FlexAppeal4x4 is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team in Bungalow, QLD on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the vital link between our customers and our service department, ensuring exceptional customer experiences whilst managing administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving service requests, providing quotations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service in the 4x4 and automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers and answering telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner

• Receiving and documenting service requests, ensuring all details are accurately recorded

• Providing customers with service quotations and explaining warranty and service options

• Scheduling service appointments and maintaining the workshop calendar efficiently

• Liaising between customers, technical staff, and management to ensure timely communication

• Processing invoices, managing customer accounts, and handling payment processing

• Following up with customers regarding service completion and addressing any concerns

• Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and service history

• Assisting with administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management

• Promoting additional services and products to customers where appropriate

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a customer service or client administration role, preferably within the automotive or 4x4 industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Proficiency in using computer systems, including appointment scheduling software and customer databases

• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and financial transactions

• Professional demeanour and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Knowledge of 4x4 vehicles and automotive services is desirable but not essential

• A valid driver's licence is preferred
