Commercial Operations Manager - Maintenance Plumbing

Atlantic Plumbing Services is one of Sydney's leading commercial maintenance plumbing companies, providing responsive maintenance, pump services, compliance works and asset management solutions to clients across NSW and the ACT.

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable plumber to join our team as a Commercial Operations Manager.

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of maintenance clients, coordinating technicians, providing technical support, preparing quotations, and ensuring service delivery meets client expectations.

Perfect for an experienced commercial maintenance plumber, leading hand, supervisor, or service coordinator who wants to build their leadership and client management skills while remaining connected to the technical side of the industry.

As Commercial Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day delivery of services across a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients.

Working closely with our technicians and support staff, you'll coordinate works, build strong client relationships, identify opportunities for additional services, and ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

This is a hands-on role that combines office-based coordination with regular site visits and field support.

Client Management

• Manage a portfolio of commercial maintenance clients.

• Develop strong relationships with facility managers, building managers and key stakeholders.

• Conduct site visits, client meetings and service reviews.

• Prepare quotations, reports and recommendations.

• Identify opportunities for additional maintenance and project works.

Operations & Scheduling

• Coordinate and schedule daily maintenance activities for technicians.

• Ensure jobs are prioritised and completed within required service timeframes.

• Support after-hours operations through participation in the Callout Manager roster.

• Work closely with administration staff to maintain smooth service delivery.

Technical Support

• Provide technical guidance and support to plumbers and technicians.

• Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of complex maintenance issues.

• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks where required.

• Support the delivery of small projects and remedial works.

About You

• Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial maintenance plumbing.

• Strong technical knowledge of water, sewer, stormwater and hydraulic systems.

• Experience coordinating jobs, technicians or maintenance activities.

• Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Current driver's licence.
