Workforce Coordinator

Australian Civil Solutions is a growing civil construction and earthmoving company specialising in pipeline installation, earthworks and plant hire.

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Workforce Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly.

This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for coordinating our workforce, managing rosters, supporting recruitment and ensuring our new team members are ready to get started.

About the Role

Working closely with our Operations team, you’ll help coordinate our workforce across multiple projects and sites.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating employee and project rosters

• Matching operators and crews to project requirements

• Managing workforce availability, leave, absences and roster changes

• Liaising with supervisors, project teams, clients and employees

• Advertising vacancies and sourcing suitable candidates

• Screening applicants and coordinating interviews

• Assisting with reference checks and pre-employment requirements

• Coordinating new starter paperwork and onboarding

• Ensuring licences, tickets, competencies and other documentation are current

• Coordinating site inductions and mobilisation requirements

• Maintaining accurate employee and workforce records

• Assisting with workforce planning and general operational administration

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working with people.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in workforce coordination, rostering, recruitment, HR, administration or a similar role

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Confidence communicating with employees, supervisors and clients

• A practical, problem-solving approach

• The ability to work independently while being a strong team player

Experience within civil construction, plant hire or a similar industry will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
