About the role
A key member of the People, Culture and Operations team, the Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Guild. This is a diverse and hands-on role providing administrative, facilities, travel, events and project support across the organisation.

Working closely with the Employee Experience Manager and broader People, Culture and Operations team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution across multiple areas of the organisation.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised and proactive, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
This role is a full-time , ongoing opportunity and is based at the Guild's National Secretariat in Barton, ACT.
About You!
You are someone who wants to make a difference through your work. You enjoy supporting others, keeping things organised, and take pride in delivering high-quality administrative support. You bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to help wherever needed.
You are highly organised and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You enjoy problem solving, use initiative and are comfortable working independently while knowing when to collaborate with others.
Your communication skills shine through in your ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. From visitors and suppliers to colleagues and members, you are professional, approachable and service focused.
You are adaptable and enjoy working across a variety of responsibilities, from travel coordination and facilities management to events, administration and project support. You thrive in an environment where flexibility and responsiveness are valued.
Experience in an administration, office coordination or business support role will set you up for success. You will have sound Microsoft Office skills and a demonstrated ability to manage administrative processes efficiently. Qualifications in business administration or a related field are desirable but not essential.
