Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Booragoon Medical Centre

Booragoon Medical Centre has an opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our growing team in Booragoon. The position is part-time (approx. 15 hours per week) and would suit a friendly and dedicated Registered or Enrolled Nurse. 

Must be able to work Thursdays & Fridays 9am - 5pm

About the Role

You will play a key role in our modern, well-established practice, providing essential support to our general practitioners and patients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing patient triage.

• Administering vaccinations and iron infusions.

• Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures, emergencies, and injury management.

• Developing and contributing to Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments.

• Providing comprehensive patient education and support.

• Ensuring the treatment room is well-organised and managing patient flow efficiently.

• Controlling and managing medical stock levels.
  

What We're Looking For

• Current and unrestricted AHPRA nursing registration.

• A patient-centric approach with excellent communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.

• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with clinical and scheduling software.

• A positive, proactive attitude.

Highly Regarded:

• Previous experience in an accredited General Practice setting.

• Familiarity with clinical software like Best Practice or similar .

• An up-to-date Immunisation Certificate or currently working towards one.

• Experience in care planning and chronic disease management.
