What You Will Do:

·         Install and commission commercial & industrial electrical projects for clients

·         Perform proactive reactive maintenance for power and control systems across diverse industries such as the water, manufacturing, agriculture and utilities sectors

·         Complete project delivery including design and plans across projects such as:

·         Installation & maintenance of commercial & industrial scale

·         PV, battery energy storage & energy optimization

·         Cable tray and cable installation

·         Motor control panel and switchboard wiring

·         Installation of power distribution

·         Work with electrical equipment like variable speed drives, soft starters, PLC’s, radio equipment and instrumentation etc.

·         Electrical maintenance, as required, to AMG’s industrial clients to resource their maintenance departments

·         Develop and maintain long term customer relationships 

·         Maintain documentation test sheets on work carried out

·         Develop and maintain a strong safety compliance culture and comply with all site safety requirements.

What You Will Need:

Applications will be welcomed from Trade Qualified Electricians able to demonstrate, or who are willing to learn and develop, the following: 

·         A desire for a long-term career opportunity with a willingness to learn and grow with the business.

·         Experience with diagnosing and repairing electrical breakdowns in the commercial & industrial sector

·         The ability to work autonomously, be solution focused and resource what is required to be able to implement the identified solutions

·         A proven safety focus for yourself, co-workers, clients and on-site plant and equipment

·         Construction Industry White Card.

·         Manual driver licence.

·         A proven strong work ethic.

·         A positive, supportive and team-oriented attitude in the workplace.

·         Working at Heights and Confined Space Trained 

·         Instrumentation or Hazardous area qualifications

·         Solar accreditation
