We’re looking for an exceptional Production Assistant to join our vibrant Production Team at Pablo & Rusty’s North Ryde Roastery. Our team is packed with coffee professionals who thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment! 

About the Role 

This role supports our packing and logistics operations to ensure every batch of coffee is roasted and packed to exacting specifications. You’ll work across production areas and support warehouse coordination to help deliver exceptional coffee to our customers. 

A key part of this role is providing our team with coverage across the day, so flexibility is essential. You must be available to cover shifts including:  

• 7:00am – 3:00pm (opening shift) 
• 9:00am – 5:00pm (closing shift) 

Our team operate multiple packing machines and learning how to operate these with precision and attention to detail is key. We value the quality of our product, and maintaining a clean and organised production space is vital. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate commercial packing machines 
• Assist with restocking and receiving consumables 
• Maintain strict quality control and production records 
• Support warehouse organisation, stock control and general cleanliness 
• Assist with processing orders including pick/pack and labelling of orders 
• Adhere to HACCP/GMP guidelines and undergo training in Food Safety in manufacturing 

About You 

• 1+ year warehouse/food manufacturing/coffee industry experience preferred 
• Experience with commercial coffee packing machines highly regarded 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment 
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic 
• Physically capable and reliable 
• Willingness to learn from and work collaboratively with our teams 
• Forklift license advantageous (but not essential)
