About the Role

Teys Food Solutions is seeking Night Shift Cleaners to join the cleaning team based at our Morningside processing site in Queensland.

These are full-time positions working Monday to Friday 8:00 pm to 4:30 am with occasional weekend work as required.

As a key member of our night operations team, you will play an important role in maintaining the high hygiene and food safety standards that support our production processes. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can lead by example.

Duties include:

• Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment
• Clean and sanitise production machinery and work areas
• Operate hoses and specialised foaming equipment
• Remove waste and maintain a clean work environment
• Complete cleaning tasks in accordance with food safety requirements
• Inspect and verify cleaning standards before production recommences

About You

It is essential that you have the following:

• Able to work in a cold wet environment
• Availability to work from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am & occasional weekends
• Ability to work alone & as part of a small team
• Good time management skills
• Punctual, reliable & strong attention to detail
• Australian resident with full working rights in Australia 
• Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol test
• Be able to provide two reference checks

Desirable:

• Food industry experience, preferably meat  
• Industrial cleaning experience
