Industrial Cleaners Needed - Fresh Produce Factory

BioGiene is seeking dedicated and reliable "Industrial Cleaners" to join our team at our Fresh produce factory located in Smeaton Grange NSW. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the production areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of production equipment, work areas and facilities.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and by-products appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.

Job Requirements

• IMMEDIATE start
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in a fresh produce food processing factory setting. (Preferred but not required)
• Ability to work night shift, Monday to Saturday (if/ when required)
• Approx 48 hrs per fortnight roster
• Shift times will when required 11.30pm - 5.30am
• This site is refrigerated at 3-5 degrees
• MUST have own car and able to get to work each day
• Valid visa required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Paid as per the Cleaning Services Award "MA00022".
