Dermal Clinician or Laser Therapist

The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Dermal Clinician or Laser Therapist to join our team at Melbourne Laser & Aesthetic Centre (MLAC) in the Melbourne CBD. The role entails delivering exceptional skin treatments and aesthetic services to our valued clients. 

Job description

• Performing a wide range of dermal and laser treatments, including but not limited to: Laser hair removal, pigment lasers, vascular lasers, laser resurfacing, QS laser treatments and tattoo removal

• Treating and assessing more complex concerns such as scars and lesions, identifying and treating using our advanced lasers and treatment modalities, opportunity to develop advanced dermoscopy and laser skills

• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs and develop tailored treatment plans

• Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and professionalism throughout all client interactions

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide clients with the most effective solutions

• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the clinic through exceptional customer service and client retention

• Assisting co-directors in daily tasks, general reception responsibilities and basic admin tasks

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Dermal Sciences or a related field

• Demonstrated experience as a Dermal Clinician or Laser Therapist, with a strong understanding of skin anatomy and physiology, including experience with the following: Laser hair removal, pigment lasers, vascular lasers, laser resurfacing, QS laser treatments and tattoo removal

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and effective treatments

• A passion for the beauty and aesthetics industry, and a desire to help clients achieve their skin health and wellness goals
