Sales Representatives

About the role

This position is exclusively focused on supermarket and grocery retail customers. You will be responsible for developing new accounts, managing existing customer relationships, increasing product distribution and driving sales growth across independent and major supermarket channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage supermarket and grocery retail accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across independent supermarkets, retail groups and major grocery channels.
• Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers, category managers and head-office procurement teams.
• Present Colossus products, pricing, promotions and new product opportunities to customers.
• Negotiate product listings, promotional programs, pricing and trading terms.
• Conduct regular store visits and maintain strong in-store execution.
• Monitor product availability, shelf positioning, pricing and competitor activity.
• Work with internal supply chain, production and marketing teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Prepare sales forecasts, account plans and regular sales performance reports.
• Achieve agreed sales, distribution, volume and gross-margin targets.

About you

• Previous sales experience within FMCG, beverages, food or consumer products.
• Direct experience managing supermarket, grocery or retail accounts.
• Strong understanding of supermarket buying processes, product listings, promotions and category management.
• Existing relationships within the Australian supermarket or grocery industry will be highly regarded.
• Previous experience with Schweppes, Coca-Cola, Unilever, or a similar major FMCG company is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
• Commercially focused, target-driven and confident in developing new business.
• Able to work independently and manage a structured customer visit schedule.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and sales reporting.
• Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
