Chef/Cook

Indian Mehfil Restaurant is situated in the heart of Ipswich city in an old-style heritage building. Established in 2010, Indian Mehfil has been at the forefront of authentic Indian cuisine. We are looking for a chef to become a part of our workplace. A passion for cooking, a great attitude, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and cleanliness are essential.

You will have:

* The ability to deliver a consistent standard of food

* Strong attention to detail and speed

* A proven ability to work effectively in a team and work well under pressure

* A sound knowledge of food and cooking techniques

* Ability to work unsupervised

* Initiative and willingness to learn

You will be required to work 5 days per week. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Ideally, you will be hard-working, with a positive and energetic personality, have a passion for hospitality, and would like to be part of a professional, friendly team environment. You must be available for weekend and weekday shifts, including nights. Experience is an advantage; however, training can be made available for the right person.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
