Accounts Manager

About the role

Santrix Diesel is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join the team immediately. This role involves total accounts system control and management, providing an accurate financial picture of accounts at all times and liaising professionally with suppliers, clients and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Total accounts system control and management

• Managing accounts clerks and administration team

• Fortnightly payroll processing and EOFY payroll reconciliations

• Accounts Payable management including entering, processing and payment of supplier invoices, sending remittance advices, statement reconciliations, and staff expense reimbursements

• Accounts Receivable management including billing of invoices and debt control

• Quoting and purchase order acquisitions

• Processing of timesheets for 150+ employees

• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts

• Month-end procedures and reporting

• Professional liaison with suppliers, clients and employees to ensure timely receipt of funds and produce accurate reports on results and consolidate in Excel

About you

• Extensive experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping

• Previous experience in finance administration or accounts within the mining industry is ideal

• A minimum of 3-5 years of finance administration or accounts experience is required

• Knowledge and proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated initiative in resolving queries and willingness to assist

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with strong accuracy and attention to detail

• Well-developed communication and leadership skills
