About the Kitchen Steward Supervisor Opportunity

Joondalup Resort is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward Supervisor to join the Stewarding team. This is a full-time position (payment is based on Hospitality Award wages).

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure kitchens and back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
• Care for kitchen and service equipment
• Track and minimize breakages, loss of equipment and crockery.
• Review, establish and manage kitchen cleaning schedules.
• Lead a team of kitchen stewards in various sections of the kitchen.
• Manage team rosters.

Position Specifications:

• Extensive stewarding experience including experience in a similar hotel environment
• Working Knowledge and leadership of HACCP
• Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
• Have availability to work a flexible roster including early mornings/ late nights/ weekends and public holidays

• Strong Organisational and Time Management Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Meticulous Attention to Detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Chemical Handling Knowledge
