Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Mane Consulting is representing a New South Wales government organisation in their search for a Project Manager – Civil Works, to assist in the delivery of a variety of road & mining remediation, water treatment & construction projects within the NSW region. The organisation is hiring for this position on a daily rate, contract basis which is expected to run initially until the end of June 2027.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Manager – Civil Works, you will assist in the planning, delivery and risk management of a variety of projects across two main project sites. This is a hybrid role which will you see providing on-site & office based support, with occasional opportunities to work from home. Reporting into the project leadership team, you will ensure that project objectives are achieved safely, on-time and within budget – overseeing the interface of project contracts whilst demonstrating expert knowledge of GC21, Minor Works and other relevant procurement standards.

ABOUT YOU

The be successful in the Project Manager – Civil Works role you should have:

• Direct experience in road, water or mining remediation related construction projects
• Direct project management experience in the NSW government space, with deep knowledge of GC21, Minor works and other relevant procurement practices
• A background in civil engineering and relevant qualifications would be considered advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage a varied project schedule across multiple NSW locations
• A current White Card and Drivers Licence with the ability to travel between sites as required
