Part-Time Accounts Manager

Flexible 15–25 Hours Per Week | Immediate Start | Thomastown Location

Evergreen Civil Pty Ltd is a growing civil & landscape construction company based in Thomastown, delivering projects throughout Victoria. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts Manager to join our team on a part-time basis.

This role is offering approximately 15–25 hours per week, with the potential for hours to increase as the business continues to grow. The hours are flexible but attendance on Thursdays is required (payroll day).

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and payroll functions of the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident working independently and enjoys being involved in all aspects of accounts administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Processing and managing weekly payroll

• Preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG and Payroll Tax

• Managing supplier and customer accounts

• Bank reconciliations and general account reconciliations

• Assisting with cash flow and financial reporting

• Maintaining accurate financial and payroll records

• Liaising with suppliers, customers, employees and external accountants

• Assisting with general financial and administrative duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Strong knowledge and experience using MYOB Accumatica

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Manager, Bookkeeper or Senior Accounts role

• Experience managing payroll and associated compliance requirements

• Experience preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG and Payroll Tax

• An understanding of the civil construction or construction industry is highly desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
