Lease Administrator - Retail Property

About the role

Lease Equity is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Lease Administrator to join our growing team. This is a full-time role based in Perth CBD, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in commercial property within the retail sector. As Lease Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient management of the team's retail property leasing transactions, ensuring administrative compliance from initial offer stage and disclosures through to execution of lease . This role is integral to operations, directly contributing to the smooth functioning of our high performance leasing department.

Your key responsibilities

• Maintain and update comprehensive lease documentation and records for retail properties, ensuring accuracy and accessibility

• Process lease agreements, amendments and renewals, liaising with legal teams and all relevant parties to ensure compliance with terms and conditions

• Monitor lease commencement dates, renewal dates and termination dates, providing timely reminders and managing lease lifecycle administration

• Support the coordination of lease negotiations and provide administrative assistance throughout the negotiation process

• Respond to tenant and landlord enquiries regarding lease terms, payment schedules and lease-related matters

• Liaise with finance, legal and property management teams to ensure seamless lease administration across all departments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in lease administration, property management or a related administrative role within the real estate sector

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing lease documentation

• Proficiency in property management software systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Knowledge of commercial lease terminology, processes and end to end delivery of accurate documents

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment

• Problem-solving capability and proactive approach to identifying and resolving lease administration issues

• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to commercial property leasing

• Professional demeanour with strong customer service orientation
