4WD Accessory Salesperson

Do you know your way around a 4WD?

We’re looking for an experienced Salesperson who understands vehicles, accessories and the 4WD lifestyle to join our team.

This is not your typical retail sales role. Our customers rely on us for expert advice, the right products and quality solutions — and we’re looking for someone who can turn that advice into sales.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Selling 4WD accessories, parts and touring products

• Understanding customer requirements and recommending the right products

• Preparing quotes and converting enquiries into sales

• Following up quotes and customer enquiries

• Selling complete solutions rather than individual products

• Selling auto-electrical products including driving lights, winches, dual battery systems, UHF radios and 12V accessories

• Booking accessory fitments and coordinating sales with the workshop

• Building strong relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business

• Handling customer enquiries in-store, by phone and email

• Stock, ordering and workshop coordination

• Working towards sales targets and contributing to the overall performance of the store

About you:

• Proven sales experience — automotive, parts, mechanical or 4WD experience preferred

• Sound understanding of automotive electrical products and their applications

• Genuine interest in vehicles, 4WDs and aftermarket accessories

• Confident asking questions, identifying customer needs and recommending solutions

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Motivated by achieving sales and converting opportunities

• Reliable, organised and able to manage multiple customers and enquiries

• Must have full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident)

You don’t need to be a qualified auto electrician — you’re a salesperson first, but you need enough automotive electrical knowledge to confidently sell and explain products and understand what is involved in fitting them.
