About the role
Pathology Queensland are excited to welcome applications for a Senior Project Officer to join our Clinical Operations Branch! Pathology Queensland (PQ) provides diagnostic pathology services to all Hospital and Health Services (HHS) across metro, regional and remote Queensland and plays a critical role in the government's response to public health threats, epidemics, and civil emergencies.
Statewide Clinical Operations is a new branch within Pathology Queensland that leads and optimises clinical functions (phlebotomy, relievers, point of care, client services, quality, skills development, research and information) to support state-wide operations, ensuring the provision of high-quality, cost-effective, and client-centred pathology, coronial and public health sciences service delivery.
About the role:
As A Senior Project Officer, you will contribute to system-level planning, policy, and governance through delivering programmes /projects and activities to support the delivery of operational objectives. This role requires you to work with limited supervision supporting a variety of different managers and/or projects. This requires you to liaise with and build productive relationships with stakeholders across Pathology Queensland.

With knowledge of course development software, learning theory and instructional design principles, you will contribute to the development of effective learning solutions and business processes. Your strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills will enable you to identify efficiencies, design best-practice end-to-end processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Supported by excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, you will work collaboratively across teams to drive positive change and achieve organisational goals.
