We provide accessible veterinary care to the community, helping animals receive treatment when financial or personal circumstances may otherwise make that difficult.
At the heart of our work is a simple goal: improving animal welfare while helping keep pets and people together.
This is more than routine GP.
Our hospital sees a diverse caseload across general practice, medicine, surgery and urgent presentations.
You’ll have the opportunity to work through interesting and sometimes complex cases, using your clinical judgement to balance the patient's needs with the individual circumstances of the person caring for them.

Your veterinary skills can change more than a clinical outcome.
Community veterinary medicine is different.
Some of the people who come through our doors are experiencing financial hardship or difficult personal circumstances and may have limited options for their pet’s care.
That means the work can involve complex decisions and emotionally challenging conversations.
But it also means your work can have an extraordinary impact.
You may help a family access treatment they thought was out of reach, keep a much-loved pet at home, prevent an unnecessary surrender, or avoid euthanasia where access to veterinary care is the primary barrier.
The work can be challenging, but it is also varied, meaningful and deeply rewarding.
We’re looking for a veterinarian who…

You’ll work alongside passionate veterinary professionals who understand the rewards and realities of community veterinary medicine.
We believe complex cases are best worked through together. Collaboration matters, communication matters, and asking for help is part of good clinical practice.
