Guest Service Specialist

About the role

Kellys Beach Resort is seeking a Guest Service Agent Reservations to join our dynamic team in Bargara, Queensland. In this salary position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling reservations, and assisting with various front office duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Day shift times may vary based on operational needs and availability requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Handling guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently

• Assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner

• Processing reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately

• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our hotel's facilities, services, and promotions

• Providing general administrative support, such as handling cash, preparing reports, and updating guest records

• Ensuring the front desk area is well-organised and presentable at all times

• Being able to show strong leadership skills in the Bistro

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or front office role within the hospitality industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service

• Experience with any PMS is acceptable, RMS preferred

• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering a high-quality guest experience

• Able to work at Multiple sites as the business requires

• Australian work rights are required for this position
