Galston High School is nestled within the semi-rural area of Galston and Dural. • Approval to Teach Technology mandatory(Stage 4) and Textiles & Design/Textiles Technology(Stage 6).

• Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Hospitality-Food and Beverage providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.

• Demonstrated effective classroom management and well-being practices to build positive learning outcomes.

• Demonstrated understanding of differentiation and the needs of gifted and talented students.

• Demonstrated high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents and the wider school community.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
