Business Development Manager - Equipment Hire

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Alya Access Hire' as a Business Development Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and establishing strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives. Based in Thomastown, VIC, with the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site as needed.

What you'll be doing

1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities

2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the company's customer base

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in the industry

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions

5. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients

6. Closely monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities

7. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing plans to support the overall business strategy

8. Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

1. Proven track record of success in new business development.

2. 3-5 years experience in the Equipment Hire Industry is essential for this role.

3. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

4. Strong understanding of the New Business Development landscape and industry best practices

5. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and identify innovative solutions to complex challenges

6. Proficient in presenting and pitching to senior-level stakeholders

7. Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
