$70,000 - $80,000 FTE, pro rata based on hours worked

About the role

This is an opportunity to take your finance and bookkeeping experience somewhere a little different. Rather than working in a traditional finance environment, you'll be part of a growing technology and manufacturing business where you can see the products, people and projects behind the numbers. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across accounts, reconciliations and financial administration, work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager and broader management team, and gain exposure to a fascinating mix of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across accounts, reconciliations and financial administration

• Work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager and broader management team

• Gain exposure to a fascinating mix of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and operations

• Work with Australian and international suppliers and systems including Xero and MRPeasy

• Help improve finance processes and systems as the business scales

• Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements

• Complete bank and credit-card reconciliations

About you

• Demonstrated bookkeeping, Accounts Officer or accounts administration experience

• Strong practical experience using Xero

• Good knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Experience completing bank and credit-card reconciliations

• Experience processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• The ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines

• Confidence identifying errors, discrepancies and missing information

• Good written and verbal communication skills
